And while I absolutely love creating those artful, posed portraits, I’ve also felt a growing desire to offer something a little different, so this is a beautiful option for families whose babies are a few weeks old or who are drawn to a more relaxed experience.

Signature: Unscripted is a lifestyle-inspired newborn session designed for families who want natural, connection-focused imagery in a softly lit studio setting. These sessions are available for babies up to 6 weeks old, making them a beautiful option whether you’re in those early newborn days or you’ve passed the 5–14 day window typically recommended for posed portraits.
Rather than structured posing and styled setups, this session centers on the way you naturally interact with your baby holding them close, swaying gently, settling them as they stretch and yawn.
With gentle guidance and intention, each connection is captured in soft, beautiful light. This approach to lifestyle newborn photography in studio allows space for natural movement, connection, and those quiet, in-between moments with your baby.
The feel is more organic, with natural movement and a focus on connection over composition.

As a photographer and a mother, I know that not every family connects with the same approach.

Signature: Unscripted was created for families who feel most at home in those quieter, unposed moments. It’s not a replacement for anything. It’s simply a new way to tell your story.
